NORTH QUEENSLAND INSURANCE COMPANY.
The report of fclie directors of the North Queensland Insurance Company, which we have received from Messrs Wni. E. Reynolds and Co., states' that the revenue account for the year j ending 30th September shows that the year's operations have resulted in a profit of £15,290 9s lOd, to which has to be added the credit ■ balance brought forward fioni last year of £1224 4s Bd, making a total sum of £16,511 14s Id available, which it is proposed to appropriate as follows : — To payment of 8 per cent, dividena on the capital of the company, £4285 ; reserve fund (making £26,000), £6000; reinsurance reserve fund (making £10,000), £4000;balance carried forward, £2229 14s Id. The I fullest provision has been made for all known and outstanding liabilities. The business* of the company continues to show a substantial increase throughout all its Australasian branches and agencies.
