T. F. H. B. — Have your horse comfortably atabled in a well-ventilated loose-box, scrupulously clean, and bathe the swollen parts with hot" -water — as hot as your hand can beai it — thrice daily. At the same time clean the wound from all putrescence, and drcs3 with an antiseptic lotion. Feed him with a sloppy food, and occasionally mix » little nitrate of potassium in it.
