REPORTED KILLED BY MISTAKE. WELLINGTON,. 19.
July The reported death in South Africa of G. H. Fisher, son of Mr George Fisher, M.H.R., happily turns out to be incorrect. The latter to-day received a letter from las son, bearing the date of 11th June. In it he stated that " one of the Kaffrarian! Rifles, a lance-corporal named G. Fisher, was, shot dead the other day."' The similai'ty of name« must have given rise to the report that it was the son of the Wellington M.H R. who hud met his death in fiction, both men being members of the Kaffrarian Rifles.
