THE FOURTH AND FIFTH CONTINGENTS.

The Premier has been advised that the &.s. Tayne left Capetown on the 13th June, having on board for New Zealand Lieutenantcolonel Davies, Captains Walker, Nicolson, Pringle, and Davey, Lieutenants Thomson, Brown, Macdonald, Rolleston, and Jolly, Quartermaster Gardiner. Surgeon-captain Watt, and 287 men of the fourth contingent ; Captains-major Jackson, Pokon, and Curry, Lieutenants M'Millan, Marshall, M'Lellan, Whyte, Haselden, Manson, and Ferguson, Quartermaster Sanderson, ftur-geon-captain Thomas, and 326 men of the fifth contingent ; Lieutenant London (second contingent). Second-lieutenant^ O'Farrell (First Derbyshire Regiment), .Lieutenant Heather (Kitchener's Scouts), and 58 men, including 40 New Zealand reserves. The boat is expected to reach New Zealand on July 5.
