Notes from Cromwell.
(From Oub Own Cohhespondeiit ,' CEOMWELL, June 18. The river Las fallen fairly fast during tin last few dayß, and it is probable that the dredges will start work in a week. The Junction Electric is working away still. The pontoons of the Eise and Shme are nearlyready for launching." The Royal Maori has the buckets in position ; also the winches.
