THE UNITED MORVEN DREDGING COMPANY.
TO THE EDITOR. Str, — Shareholders at las f appear to be taking an interest m the doings of this company, judging l>y the correspondence which has appeared jn your columns. There is a very general feeling amongst shareholders that the directors should take steps to liquidate the company at the earliest opportunity. The results of dredging on the Upper Kawarau and en far supenoi claims to the one held by this company, do not warrant the directors piitting a- dredge on their claim or even amalgamating with an adjoining company. There have been far too manj dredges put on doubtful
claims already, and, as we all know, with, disastrous results. Trusting that the directors, who, so far, have conserved the interests of the shareholders, will call a meeting to get the shareholder' authority to wind up before the money aheady paid is eaten up with costs of management, etc. — i am. etc., Shaheholdeb No. 2.
