HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.

With reference to the purchase of the patent American, steriliser, the Chanman said that while it entsuled tUe expenditure of a large sum of: money, yet other people had got it, and they wanted to be up to toe maik. — The report was adopted.

The Finance Committee leported that salaries and accounts lor ii:iy, amounting to £6i7 Is Gd, wcie examined and passed for payment, subject to the appro lai of the tiustecs. The receipts for the month of May were as follows- — Jn patients, £68 6s Gd ; out patients, £8 8s ; donations, £0 18s Sd ; students' fees, £52 11s Gd; sales, £2 U 6d,- total, £137 6= 2d. Fraser, in payment of Miss XeU Lanham's legacy; and £5, per Messrs Dalgety and Co., the usual halfyearly contribution from Mrs Mary Xicholls.

The Chairman mentioned that in connection with the royal visit a stand had been erected in front of the Hospital, and three flags had been purchasetfc- Some decorations in front of the building had also been arranged for, whicb would make a decent display at a small cost.
