9ame to the. conference and recommend that they be approved. The question of fixing the dates for the D.J.C. meetings for the ensuing season was postponed to a special meeting. Tho Bon. Geo. M'Lean and Mr J. A. Millar. M.H.R.. were appointed delegates to attend the Racing Conference. It was resolved to erect a large building for an outside booth and shelter for the public, the building to be 50ft by 30ft, with a verandah, sufficient room being allowed to shelter about 600 people in ca*e of bad weather. It was resolved that Mr James bo voted a bonus of £25, and that the incoming committee be recommended to appoint hnn as secretary.
