The late Mr John Hislop, jeweller, Duuedm, had an exceedingly attractive case of exhibits at the Crystal Palace Colmdnes Exhibition. Her late Majesty Queen Victoria was so pleased with a number of the articles shown, that she expressed herself in terms of commendation to the commissioner. This being reported to Mr Hislop, he asked Her Majesty's acceptance of the articles commended, and hence the letter given above. H.R.H. the Duke of Edinburgh, and H.R H. Princess Henry of Battenburg purchased a number ot articles from the case
