There was a full market at Addington, but the attendance was poor. The entries consisted of 8108 sheep, 413 cattle, and 458 pigs. - Fat Sheep. — There was a fair entry, and the demand was good, especially for ewe and second class mutton ; but a brisk demand existed for better classes also, and prices all round showeci _ an improvement on last week's rates of about 2s pei head. Freezing wethers realised from 16a Gd to 19s, and extra hea\y fiom 19s 2d to 20s; bpst quality ewes, 15s to 16s 9d ; medium, 133 6d to 14p 9d , others, from 8s 6d upwards ; merino wethers, ]ls 2d to 14s id. Fat Lambs. — There was a small yarding, and prices rose Is 6d on best eoits. One prime lot; fetched 17s 3d. Fieezers sold at from 14s to 16s, snd butchers' sorts fiom 13s to 14s 3d. Fat Cattle.— 24o yarded, mostly ordinaiy, quality, which sold slowly. Beef, per 1001b, realised 18s to 21s for good, ai. L up to 22s 6d for pnme, cow and inferior sellirg at from 14s to 17s Gd. Per head steers realised £6 to £9 5s for ordmaiy, and up to £11 for prioiest; heifers, £5 to £7 10s ; cows, £5 15s to £7 17s 6d. Store Cattle. — The entry was small, and the demand slow. Two-year-old fetched £3 10s ; three-year-old (good line), £5 10s. Good dairy cows were in demand at up to £10. Pigs. — 458 yarded, but the market was sluggish except ior good baconers, which -sold at fiom 35s to 52s 6d, or 3hd per lb ; porkers, 20a to 345, or 3id to 3*d per 1b ; stores, 10s to 18s; weaners, 3s to "6s 6d.
