WASHINGTON, April 3.

Venezuela demands the recall of Mr Loomis, the United States Minister. A warship will therefore take him home on short leave, as President M'Kinley is desirous to consult him.

The United States Minister, Mr Loomis, discovered thit General Castro, President of Venezuela, after promising first to pay all American claims, had secretly paid the German claims. The United States Minister also protested against the newspaper attack on his own country.
