STAUGHTERING AND INSPECTION REGULATION.
WELLINGTON, Apiil 4. Regulations tinder the Slaughtering and Inspection Act will appear in tlie Gazette. They provide for the registration and licensing of all slaughterhouses, and that for the purposes of licensing the colony is to be divided into nine districts. Existing licenses are to continue in force until the 30th June next, but the local authority concerned must before issuing any license-, transmit the application for the approval of the Minister of AgiicuHure.
