FUNAREIS.

This word I found while annotating " Jamieson's Scottish Dictionary," in which it is stated to mean " However."

It is an Aberclonian phonetic compound word written without hyphens. Separated into it B 'component parts it is " Fun-a'-beis "— that is, " When-all-bea," or "When all is^ (considered)," "When all is said and done," "In spite of all," "In the long run," "In the end, "At length," "Although," "After all,' etc. Pronounce with accent on middle syllabic, Fun-ah-bees.
