TO THE EDITOR. Sib,— lt is reported in town to-day that the wool landed in Port the other day by the ship that took fire is infested with Bathurst burr, and that it is being bought up for locax use. Now, if there is any truth in this statement it is high time some steps were taken to stop this wool from being put into use here.
