Despatches from the Duke of Norfolk and Air Chamberlain are gazetted stating that the period of deep mourning for the Queen expired on March 6. Half mourning will be worn until the 17th of April. The appointments of the fallowing clerks of court are gazetted: — J. M. Rodgers, Christchurch ; E. D. Mosely, Dunedin ; H. Beattie, Waitara ; F. W. Hart, Naseby. Regulations are gazetted under the Shorthand Reporters Act. A notice appears in the Gazette fixing the number of councillors for each borough in the colony. «
