THE WOOL SALES.

Messrs Dalgety and Co. report having received the following cable from their London office :—": — " Wool Sales : The list of arrivals for the second series is closed, the new arrivals amounting to 207,000 bales, of which 84,000 bales have been forwarded direct to manufacturers, leaving 210,000 bales available for sale. Private sales since the close of the last series have amounted to 7400 bales. The series opens on the 12th inst. Note. — The 210,000 bales available for sale include 87,000 bales brought forward from last series."
