ARRIVAL IN DUNEDIN.
The Indian troops arrived in Dunedin on Friday morning from the north by a special train at 7.40. The troops were met on the platform by his Worship the Mayor and Mr J. F. M. Frater. Colonel Peyton and his staff, who remained in Dunedin in order to perfect the arrangements for th© Btay of the soldiers in Dunedin, were taken to quarters at the Fernhill Club and the Grand Hotel, and the men w«re en-

The troops, though feeling the cold snap and somewhat tired after their journey, seemed to be in excellent spirits. The Hon. C. H. Mills and Lieutenant Hughes accompanied the men.
