GORE RACING CLUB.

The committee of this club met last week. Mr A. F. Taylor's application for a refund of deposit on a forfeited protest was received. The fine of £2 on the owner of Artist for nofc scratching his horse before the race started was remitted, as a satisfactory explanation, had been received. A letter from the owner of Madeline, who ran. in the Two-mile Trot, was held over until after the appeal in Cowboy's case is decided. It was resolved to hear Mr J. B. Macdonald at the next meeting of committee in regard to any explanation he wishes to make in the Edith-Pansy case. 1* was decided, in response to a petition, to_ establish two class trots at the Summer meeting, the Two-mile Trot limit to be smin 40sec, and the One and a-half Mile Trot limit fcnin lbsee.
