ASHBY. — On the 4th December, at his residence, Green Island, Edwin Albert Ashby; in his seventy-fourth year. CHRISTIE. — On the 29th November, at Saddle Hill, Allan Edmund, eldest son of D. L. Christie; aged 10 years. , DAVIDSON.— On the 30th November, at his residence, Glen avenue, Mornington, John Davidson (chief engineer s.s. Waihora), the beloved, husband of Emma Davidson; aged 50 years. DRTJMMOND.— On the 26th November, at the residence of his son, James, Gloucester street, Christchurch, John Druminond, C.E. ; aged 80 years. HARCUS.— On the 29th November, at her residence, Macraes Flat, after a long and painful illness, borne with Christian patience, Margaret, the dearly beloved wife of Robert Harcus ; aged 57 years. Four sons and three daughters mourn their loss. HARRIS.— On -the 7th October, at Shabbington, Buckinghamshire, William Harris, late colour-sergeant Chatham Division R.M.L.1., and drill instructor to the Japanese at Nagasaki, 1863-1866, father of W. H. Harris, janitor of Otago University; aged 77 years. HENDERSON.— On the Ist December, at her parents' residence, Helensvale, Leith Valley, Margaret Mable, third and beloved daughter of "William and Helen Henderson; aged 11 years and 2 months. Deeply regretted. EIRKLAND.— On the 4'th December, at her residence, Green Island, Mrs Janet Kirkland, relict of the late James Kirkland; aged 61 years. Deeply regretted. •M'KEY.— On the 30th November, at her residence, Ocean View Hotel, Main road, South Dunedin, Margaret Ann, the beloved wife of Michael M'Key; aged 50 years. Deeply regretted. R.I.P.
