Wheat. — The demand ia not so brisk as it was, buyers in the meantime holding off tha market. We quote: Best velvet, 2s 6d_ to 2s 7d; medium, 23 3d to 2s sd; best Tuscan, 2a' 6d to 2s 7d; medium, 2s 3d to 2s sd; fowj wheat is readily placed from Is lid to 2s Id. Oats: There has been a goocl demand during the week at quotations. Wo quote: Best feed, Is 6d; medium, and inferior, Is 2d to 13 sd; Sutherlands, Is 6d to 1b 6£d per bushel. Barley: There is little business passing. Feed sorts are quoted at la 3d to _ la 6d ; milling, Is .6d to Is lOd ; prime malting,. 2s 3d to 2s 6d ; Lakes, 2s 6d to 3s for primest samples, but medium qualities are only saleable at low prices. Ryecorn, is readily placed from 2s 3d to 2s 4d. Maize, 3s per bushel. Prussian blue peas, 4s 6d per bushel. Scotch and English tares, 5s 6d per bushel. Flour: We quote £6 10s. Oatmeal in" 25's, £9 10s. Pearl barley, £1.0 10s. Bran, £9 103. Pollaad, £4. Nelson hops ara quoted a€ lOd to lid (f.0.b,).
