The Hartley and Riley Beach Dredging Company (Limited) washed up on Friday for a return of 470z 19dwt of gold for 136 hours' dredging. The Secretary of the Meg and Annie Dredging Company reports a return of 630z 14dwt for last week. « The Secretary of the Empire Dredging Company reports a return of 390z lldwt. The Secretary of the Matau Dredging Company reports a -return of 770z for the week ended Saturday. The Secretary reports a return of 730z ldwt from the Earnscleugh No. 2 dredge for 119 hours' work. The Secretary of the Olrig Dredging Company reports a return of. Boz 4dwt for 106 houra' dredging. The Secretary of the Golden Gate Dredging Company reports a return of 430z 19dwt for six; days' dredging. The river is steady. The Dredgemaster of the Central Electric Gold Dredging Company reports a return of 12oz 16dwt 12e;r. The drift is very troublesome. The Secretary of the Richards's Beach Dredging Company reports a return of 14oz for last week. The Secretary reports that the return from the Clyde dredge for the week was lOoz. The Secretary of the Unity Gold Dredging Company reports a return of 14oz for the week ending December 1. The dredge is now working on her summer ground, and working splendidly, after a thorough overhaul. The Secretary of the Waimumu Gold Dredging Company (Limited) reports a return of 13oz lOdwt for 120 hours' dredging. The Secretary of the Manorburn Gold Dredging Company reports a return of 14oz for 123 hours' dredging. The Secretary reports that the Waikaka Fork 3 dredge obtained a return of lOoz sdwt for 137 houis' work. A new dredgemaster has been appointed, and alterations to the dredge are projected, which it is expected Will improve the returns.

The Secretary reports that the Magnetic obtained 19oz for "two and a-half days' work. The silt is very bad. The river rose sft during the week, but is now rapidly falling. The Secretary reports that the Manuherikia dredge washed up 340z lldwt 22gr for 130 hours' dredging. The becretary of the Nevis Dredging Company reports a return of 30oz for 126 hours' work.

The Secretary of the Waimumu Central Dredging Company reports a return, of 230z for 122 hours' dredging.^ A dividend of Is per share has beeii declared, payable on the Bth inst. Mr J. J. Gibson, Lawrence, reports the following returns: — Success dredge, 290z Odwt 18gr for 132 hours' dredging; Lawrence dredge, 17oz.

The Secretary of the Chicago Dredging Company reports a return of 28oz for 130 hours' work. •

The Secretary reports that the Ngapara No. 3 dredge obtained soz lOdwt for ' 122 hours' dredging last week. The Secietary of the Morning Star Dredging Company reports a return of 20oz sdwt for 110 hours' work.

The Alexandra Eureka dredge obtained a return of 420z last week. Mr Larnach, secretary of the Electric Extended Company, advises us that the dredge will be shut down until the New Year owing to the high river and drift. The Cromwell dredge has stopped work until the river goes down, the drift being also very bad to beat. The Secretary of the Upper Magnetic Dredging Company reports that he did not wash-up last week. The drift is very troublesome.

The Secretary of the Gold Queen Dredging Company reports that there was no wash-up last week as the dredge had been opening out on the new ground to which she was shifted at the end of the previous week. The Dredgemaster telegraphed on Friday to say that he had struck good wash, but had not at the time bottomed. The Perseverance dredge is stopp&d to fit on a new screen. The Molyneux Hydraulic dredge was stopped all last week through an accident to lower tumbler elevator. The Secretary of the Evans Flat Dredging Company reports a return of lOoz 18dwt for the week ended December 1. The Secretary of the Electric Extended Dredging Company reports a return of 9oz sdwt for the week ended December 1. The directors have decided to close down for the present owing to the high river and drift. The Upper Waipori Alluvial.
