Notes from Lyell. (From Our Own Correspondent.) LYELL, November 30.
The Manager of the Alpine mine reports as follows: — The tributers , have discontinued work in the north winze below No. 11 level, but are still breaking stone from the stopes south of the main connecting winze, and from above the south end of No. 11 level. The quantity of stone sent to the battery for the fortnight is 75 tons.
