This is admittedly, one

of the best yearling colts 111 Otago to-day, and Mr Wilson and Central Otago are both to be I congratulated upon the acquisition. His breed- \ ing cannot be surpassed, and is 'as follows: — Sire Crown Prince, dam, Flora, by Menlove's Prince Victor, about the best Clydesdale sire ever imported from Scotland into this colony. He was bred by Mr John Henderson, ParkI mains ; was got by Prince of Wales, iihe illustrious stud horse of Mr Laurence Drew, Merrytown, out of Rosie, a mare belonging to an exceedingly favourite strain. The grand-dam of Mr Wilson's colt is the wellknown Clydesdale mare Pride, by Boag's Prince Charlie, imported from Scotland, another of the best sires imported to this country. On account of Mr James Cullen, ELelso : We nave sold the first prize two-year-old Clydesdale entire colt Crown and Feather at the same show to Mr Archibald Aitcheson, of Hampden, at a very satisfactory price. This colt was first in a very strong class of five two-year-olds, and it is generally admitted that he is one of the best two-year-olds of the season. He is got by Lord Onslow out of Queen of the Cranbournes, g-dam Jenny. For the same vendor we sold his prize two-year-old filly by Wallace (imp.) out of the same mare as the colt Crown and Feather, at a big price, at Mr William Macaulay, of Maheno. ~
