A Pahiatua telegram states that the record sale for the district was held on Tuesday, when Messrs Abraham and Williams sold bullocks up to £7 10s ; hoggets, 14s. There was a large attendance of outside buyers, and bidding was spirited. Fifteen hundred cattle were yarded and sold.
