DEATH OF A NEW ZEALANDER. WELLINGTON, November 22.
Sir A. Milner cables to Mr Seddon that No. 2483, Trooper R. V. James, of the fifth New Zealand contingent, died of enteric at Zeerust on November 20. James was a member of the Thirteenth Company, and hailed' from Collingwood, in the Nelson district, where his father resides.
