WEST COAST.

Nicholas Vendore. a trimmer on the 'Charles Edward, aged 61 years, a native of Italy, and a widower with a family in Nelson, died suddenly on the steamer at Westport wharf on the 22nd inst. Deceased was trimming coals at the time. The doctor gave a certificate that the cause of death was syncope. The body was taken on to Nelson.
