The directors of the Perpetual Trustees, Estate, and Agency Company have declared a dividend at the rate of 12^ per cent, per annum for the half-year ended October 31 last, which will be payable on Friday next. Your directors recommend that a further sum of £1090 17s be written off the premises and plant account, thus reducing that item to £9700; paying a further dividend of 4- per cent, on all shares, i which, with the interim dividend paid on June 11 last, will absorb £1470 11s 2d, and carry forward the balance of £1476 15s Id to next year's account."
