The directors of the Perpetual Trustees, Estate, and Agency Company have declared a dividend at the rate of 12^ per cent, per annum for the half-year ended October 31 last, which will be payable on Friday next. The directors _of the Silyerton Tramway Company have declared an interim dividend of 2s .per share, payable in Dunedin on and after December 10. 1 Mr J. B. Reid, of the Colonial Consignment and Distributing -Company (Limited)f has advice from his London office thai the sum of £5337 3s 6d has been transferred to the consignors' distribution fund as the result of the twelve months' working to the -30th June last. This amount is now being distributed among shippers through the ! company. i The following is the annual report of the Oamaru Woollen Factory Company:— "The efficiency of the plant has been thoroughly maintained by replacements and repairs where necessary, and the whole of the machin-- ; cry is in first-class order. Your directors recommend that a further sum of £1090 17s be written off the premises and plant account, thus reducing that item to £9700; paying a further dividend of 4- per cent, on all shares, i which, with the interim dividend paid on June 11 last, will absorb £1470 11s 2d, and carry forward the balance of £1476 15s Id to next year's account."
