.CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER INVERCARGILL, November 14. r At Wyndham to-day, Charles Arnett, 'charged -with, the theft of £650 belonging to- Charles Milne, was remanded. He was then - further charged with the attempted •tmiifder-of Charles Milne, W. Gordon, and 'John .White by administering strychnine on October 29 at Edendale, and remanded for a ■ week.' , The accused 1 was agent for Mr F. J. Sullivan, rabbit exporter. Milne - /was -a, contract rabbiter who supplied- Sulli..van'. The .allegation is that moneys for\warded' by Sullivan through Arnett for Milne were appropriated by the accused. )On the afternoon of the poisoning accused .visited Milne's hut. Poison was found in the white sugar used for sweetening the
