.CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER INVERCARGILL, November 14. r At Wyndham to-day, Charles Arnett, 'charged -with, the theft of £650 belonging to- Charles Milne, was remanded. He was then - further charged with the attempted •tmiifder-of Charles Milne, W. Gordon, and 'John .White by administering strychnine on October 29 at Edendale, and remanded for a ■ week.' , The accused 1 was agent for Mr F. J. Sullivan, rabbit exporter. Milne - /was -a, contract rabbiter who supplied- Sulli..van'. The .allegation is that moneys for\warded' by Sullivan through Arnett for Milne were appropriated by the accused. )On the afternoon of the poisoning accused .visited Milne's hut.
