THE GOLDEN GUTTER DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the Golden Gutter Dredging Company (Limited) was held at the company's office on Monday. Mr Hugh Adam (chairman of directors) presided, and 16 shareholders -were present, 34 others being represented I>3' proxy. The Chairman stated that the circular which had been issued to shareholders would show them that the directors had been offered the claim on the Molyneux known as the Kohinoor claim, and that they had decided to lecommend the shareholders to purchase it. After reading extracts from various reports on the claim the chairman replied to several questions -which were mit in the course of the discussion which ensued. On the motion of Mr G-. Bett, seconded by Mr Thomtfs Johnstone, it was unanimously resolved — " That the directors be authorised to acquire the Kohinoor claim." Mr "Wixon moved — " That the name of the company be changed to the Molyneux Kohinoor Dredging Company (Limited)." Mr Robinson seconded the motion, which was carried unanimously. Mr Fairley moved — " That the capital of the company be increased to £10,500 by the creation of 1000 new shares of £1 each." This was seconded by Mr Tilbury, and carried unanimously.
