INVALIDED TROOPERS. WELLINGTON, October 23.
The Premier has received the following cablegram from the Premier of Tasmania: " Invalided troopers R. G-. Peireau, W. H. Coapan,- D. J. Ryan, and Sergeant Newcombe left Hobart on Sunday per Tokomaru for Wellington." October -25. Lieutenant Roseworth and Trooper Coffey ? of the New Zealand contingents; Trooper Homeyman, of the Imperial Light Horse; and Trooper Brigden, of Brabant's Horse, returned by the Monowai. They were welcomed by members of the Ministry and the mayor. October 26. The Tokomaru brought the following invalids from South Africa : — Sergeant H. NewconJbe (Greymouth), Troopers R. Ryan (Wellington), W. H. Crafar (Geraldine), A. H. M'Tavisih and W. Perrean (Foxton), and P. Fitzherbert (Roberta's Horse). Ryan, Crafar, and M'Tavish were very ill on the voyage, requiring constant attention from the ship's doctor and Nurse Bethuene (of St. Thomas's Hospital), who was a passenger by the vessel.
