TO MINING SECRETARIES AND ALL IT MAY CONCERN. Head Office, Crawford stiect, Dunedin. ! Branch Office, Ahauia, Westland. j The Zealandia Syndicate have, durin| the last three months, well tested by niean3 of boring, shafting, and open cuts several Blocks of Dredging Ground situate in the Grey Valley. Westland. All the claims so tested are ideal dredging areas, free from clay, big boulders, and with little or no useless ovfi-burden. The bottom, m most cases, is soft sandstone, and in nearly every claim gold was found fiom the surface to the main bottom, the depth oi ground varying from 12ft to 22ft. The gold contents, as ascertained by the boiing operations, averaged from 9gr to 22Agr to the cubic yard. The Syndicate, theiefore. take this oppor, unity of acquainting directors of companies who have ordered dredges and now find that their claims are r.ot- rich enough to justify them in going to any further expense in building operations thr-t they are prepared to enter into negotiations to transfer any of the claims they -have tested on teims to be mutually arranged. Further particulars, such as experts' reports, , samples of gold obtained, can be seen on application at the Office of the Secretary. D. LESLIE, Crawford street, Dunedin.
