The undersigned .knows an area of good Dredging GROUND in Southland where there is room for five or six dredges. The ground is superior to much that is now being worked. Inquiries to be addressed to BONA FIDE, Witness Office. 6o rJnHE ZEALANDIA SYNDICATE (jL < (LIMITED). TO MINING SECRETARIES AND ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. He?d Office, Crawford street, Dunedin. Branch Ofiice, Ahaura, Westland. The Zealandia Syndicate have, during the last three months, well tested by means ot boring, shafting, and open cuts several Blocks of Dredging Ground situate in the Grey Valley, IVestland. All the claims so tested are ideal dredging areas, free from clay, big boulders, and with little or no useless over-burden. The bottom, in most cases, is soft sandstone, and in nearly every claim gold was found from the surface to the main bottom, the depth of ground varying from 12ft to 22ft. The gold contents, as ascertained by the boring operations, averaged from 9gr to 22£gr to the cubic yard. The Syndicate, therefore, take this opportunity of acquainting directors of companies who have ordered dredges and no^v find that their claims arc not rich enough to justify them in going to any further expenso in building operations that they are prepared to enter into negotiations to transfer any 01 the claims they have tested on terms to be mutually arranged. Further particulars, such as experts' rex^orts, samples of gold obtained, can be seen on application at tho Office of the Secretary. D. LESLIE, Crawford street, Dunedin.
