The annual meeting of the Golden Treasure Dredging Company was held at Wood's Hotel last evening- Mr B. Hart piesided, and a fair number of shareholders were present. The directors' report and balance sheet were adopted on the motion of the Chairman, the report showing that a very successful year had just been ended with a return to the shareholders of over 100 per cent, on the paid-up capital, and that there was every prospect of the incoming year being equally as goocl. The retiring director (Mr William Adams) was re-elected, and also the auditor (Mr L. E. Haiues).
It was nientioned that the dredge is at the present time undergoing a general overhaul, which is expected to be finished about the end of the week.
