AMURI CATTLE SALE
At the yards, Culverden, on Friday, September 27, the entry comprised 317 head. T'js feature of the market v/as the Leslie Hill draft which Mr Leicester Matson, ac'cing >for H. Matson and Co., submitted. The cattle -comprised three, four, and five-year-old steers for the most part, and were in good condition, reflecting great credit on the owner, Mr Duncan. Rutherford, pnd sold as under: — 5 steers at .£l4, 6 at £13 ss, 7 at .£l2 5», 10 at £11 10s, 10 at £11 10s, 10 at £11 12s 6d, 10 at £10 ss, 10 at £10 7s, 4. at £10 ss, 10 at £9 ss, 10 at £10, 10 at £3 10s, 20 at £9 10s, 10 at £8 10s, 10 at £0 ss, 9 at £9 ; 11 heifers at £8 7s 6d, 9 at £7, 10s, 12 a'fc £7 2s 6d.
