Shareholder. — The Shoiover Gold Dredging Compaixy have issued a circular to those interested notifying that a meeting will take place on the Bth October for the purpose of considering the following proposal: — "That the company go into voluntary liquidation; that the directors be authorised to treat for and complete the purchase of a now claim, or to sell the dredge of the company for an interest in another dredging company, upon ' such terms and for such consideration in cash or in shares, or in both cash and shares . if they think fit." The dredge has been closed down since the 24th inst. pending the decision of the shareholders on the Bth Octobor. ( A Shareholder. — The suggested disposal of . the dredge is a matter for the directors to consider, not fov discussion in newspaper correspondence. If you write to the secretary no doubt your views will receive "attention. PAIHPI.AY.— -We understand that a number of shareholders have not yet paid their allotment calls.
