(Per Mariposa at Aucldarid.) A public meeting held on September 13 adopted a petition to tlie New Zealand Parliament for federation. Levulca East cast a block vote in its favour. The Fiji Times has little doubt that the larger portion of the colonists of the "group will afford their hearty co-operation to the scheme.
