Messrs Mathesoj, Pram, and Co. report: — "We 1t?1c1 out -usual fortnightly pale on Friday at this centre. There was the usual lsnge attendance of those interested, £>nd under really keen, competition a large entry of cattle was cleared at satisfactory prices; sheep also met a keen demand, and sold well. "We yarded 43 head cattle, 81 sheep, and 17 pigs, anc! sold for Messrs G-. .Johnston, W. Molr, John Dunn, John Artie, J. F. Ay?cn, R. Robson, T. Boyd, J. ll'lntyre, J. Shiel, A. Douglas, Mrs Harvie, Mrs Campbell, and others, at for : Fat bullooks, SH 5s io £8 ss : fat heifers, up to £8 ss ; store bullocks, £4 15s to ,-CG ss ; cowr. and heifers, £3 Ws to £5; young cattle, £1 10s to £2 11s ; pigs, at 8s to 13s.
