DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.

Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. leportj as follows ■ —

Theie v;as again a very poor nxuster of hoises at our sale this week, only some half dozen of medium and aged draughts, and less than a score of indifferent hacks and harness horses. A good many buyers were present, and if there had been suitable horses offering they would have met with a ready sale at excellent prices. There were customers in the yard inquiring foi, and anxious to buy heavy cart geldings for town work, also for useful young farm horses, and we could have placed, and can still place, two pairs of well-matched upstanding biy or blown carriage or wrggonette horses. There are numerous buyers for strong spring van and tramway horses, and this class is easily disposed of at prices quite £5 per headi higher than they were 12 months ago. Upstctndiug hacks and harness horses aie veiyi scr.ice and wanted. We stiongly recommend? consignments of the various classes of liorfces described above. We hold cur ihirly-ninth. s-.mual sale of Clydesdale, roadster, andi thoroughbred stallions on Thursday next, 27th. insl.
