ADELAIDE, September 10.

The Governor has received a cable from Mr Chamberlain stating that it will be wi&er for the State Governors to remain in their own capitals, in order to preside at the local celebrations in connection with the inauguration of the Commonwealth, instead of attending the , Sydney celebrations. The Earl of Hopetoira, however, will be pleased to receive as his guests at that time any of the Governors who desire to be present.
