ALLEGED ILLEGAL OPERATIONS.

WELLINGTON, September 6. The girl Mary Luke, on whom an illegal operation is alleged to have been performed, died this morning. The inquest on Miss Luke was opened today, but only the medical evidence has been taken &o far. Dr Fyft'e, who made the post mortem, deposed that death was due to peritonitis, caused by a wound Lo-tb-e internal organs.
