PRIVATEERS' CRICKET CLUB.

The seventh annual meeting of the above club was held on Tuesday, 4th inst., in St. Joseph's Hall, and was attended by 30 members. In the absence of the president, the Eev. Father Murphy (vice-president) occupied the chair. The report stated that the Junior Cup team played 12 matches, winning eight and losing four, and they also claim two by default. The Third Class Championship No. 1 team played . 10 matches, winning five, losing four, and one being drawn. The No. 2 Third Class team played nine matches, winning four. The following office-bearers were elected: — President, Mr C. E. Haughton ; vice-presi-dents—Mr J. B. Callan, Rev 7 Fathers Murphy, Co£fey, and Clery, Messrs T. M'Corinack, E. O'Connell, J. Collins, M. Coughlan; secretary, G. U. Hesford; assistant secretary, J. Whitty ; piactice -captains — J. H. Miller and F. Heley; Selection Committee — Captain, deputy-captain, and captain of the B team; General Committee — Captain, deputy-captain, secretary, and Mpssrs T. * Hussey and J. . O'Connor; delegate to the Otago Cricket Association, Mr J. H. Miller ; delegate to the Sports' Protection Society, Mr H. M. Eodgers'; auditors, Messrs E. Miller and F. Heley. The election of captain was left to the different teams.
