INTER-COLLEGE MATCH.
NELSON, September 5. The inter-collegiate match Wellington v. Nelson was played this afternoon. The visitors played pluckily, but were outclassed at all departments of the game, and ' Nelson won by 45 points to 3. Moyes (captain) scored four tries, Fell three, and Recce, Bonar, Boon, and U&her one each. Fell also placed goals from four of the tries, and Bonar one. In the last ten minutes Jones scored a try for the visitors from a forward rush*
QUEENSLAND BEATS NEW SOUTH WALES. BRISBANE, September 8. In the return football match Queensland defeated New South Wales by 20 points to nil.
