All entries and acceptances must be in sealed covers and addressed to the Secretary, and contain the necessary amount of entrance money, with description and age of hoise, and colours of the rider. Hurdle and Flat Races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. Trotting races to be run under the Rules of the New Zealand Trotting Association. In the Trotting -Races the -Totalise tor will pay out on^-fche first and second horses — that the first horse get 75 per cent., the second horse 25 per cent, on the total investments on fust and second horse. Any horse winning a handicap on the flat or over Hurdles of 30sovs or over after the declaration of the weights for first day to cany a penalty of 51b extra.
