ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS. Mittie. — I think what you suggest would make a most useful present. If only one pair, I think white cotton in a pretty open-work pattern, - summer is- so near now. -If inpre . than one, I should make the others of fine wool, in a pretty shade of tan. I remember all om consultations about the wedding so •well, it must be nearly, or quite, three years ago. Thank you foi your warm and- kindly appreciation; such letters give the keenest ' jileasure to me. EsaiNA. — I cannot be sure, jny dear girl, r whether- 1 answered your nice little note. In case I did not, I should like to say that I think you are quite wis. to wait, say, till next session, especially as you are so busy now. With the keen and intelligent interest
,you take ir our discussions I am sure you i •vgJU:makfe ) a.;Cley&Y,; member. J. shall be very,
pleased to hear from you at any time thai you iejj inclined to send a live to me, just a3 Emmeline, apart from the club matters - altogether. I hope you will be successful in your studies.. Anxious. — G-lycerine and cucumber (Beeihain's) is a very good thing for a tender skin. I think the lemon might be too severe, though it suits some skins. A little oatmeal tied in a piece of muslin, and put in the water, is an excellent thing. If you get the glycerine and cucumber, be sure it is " Beetham's." Most grocers keep it; I think it is 9d a bottle.
