SYDNEY, September 3. The tracks at Randwiek are in excellent order. On the covr.se proper Glenore badly beat Ampier (who, however, had considerably more than his Epsom weight up) over a mile, traversed in Imin 47J.sec. Another iateresling mile gallop was tLat between Tarquin and Rev her. The first half was covered in 52sec, and the mile in Imin 48i=ec. Reviver was beaten a furlong from home, Tnrquin winning comfortably by three lengths. Melodian lost Sunday over a mile, done in Imin 47^scc. A lot of others did strong work. As a result of his recent gallops Glenore has been backed to win about £3000 at 100 to 2 and 3, whils Ampior went back, but subsequently hardened. Dandy remains at the head' of affairs at 100 to 15, with Ampler next in demand at 100 to 12. After all the money on offer again c t Dandy for the Epsom Handicap Thid been accepted at 7 to 1, he shortened to 6 to 1. 8 to 1 is offered against Ampier, while 100 to 8 is to be had against Seq\;ence and Reviver.
