OTAGO RUGBY UNION.

The iisual weekly meeting of the O.R.F.U. Committee, held on Monday evening, was attended by Messrs Wilson (chairman), Morris, Macassey, Duncan, M'Laren, Ro=s, Isaacs, and Harris. Permission was granted to the Port Chalmers Club to present trophies in the seven-a-side tournament. A letter was received from the Schools' Association complaining that the referee in a match Ravensbourne v. High street School, against whom a serious charge had been made, neglected to attend a meeting or reply 10 a communication from the hon. secretary of that association, the referee in question being a player in the flag matches. It was resolved that the secretary write to the Ravensbourne Club stating thai a serious charge has been made against the player in question, and this committee regret that he has taken no notice of the communication from the Schools' A&sociation. A letter was, received from the Lawrence 'Club asking that Lawrence players only be included in the match to be played at Lawrence by the goldfields team. It was resolved that the committee adhere to their former resolution. A letter was received from the Alhambra Club asking "that the third grade matches be continued next Saturday. It was resolved that the committee's previous decision be adhered to.
