A cablegram from Sir Alfred Mzlner mentions that Private M'Leod was slightly wounded at Ottoshoop. Prom the number attached this is evidently meant for Trooper J. G. Maclean (No. 9 Company, fourth contingent), who enlisted at Dunedin.
