CLYDE, Jiily 26. The Molyneux is little over 2ft above the normal.
A' meeting of shareholders in the West llatau Company is called for Saturday night to consider what steps should be taken to wind up the company.
The boiler for the Alpine Consols dredge is on the road, and a- quantity of machinery for the Vincent Extended dredge. A large quantity of rnachinerj for the Blue Duck Company is lying at Ranfurly and Wedderburn.
The Matau dredge is waiting for a new screen.
The Klondyke dredge will resume shortly,
The Meg and Annie Company's dredge is expected to be in full going order in a fortnight.
July 30.
Heavy lain fell here yesterday. The river has risen about one foot, and is highly discoloiired. Frosts set in again last night. The contractor starts the Kelly and Casey pontoons this week. The Monte Christo pontoons are advanced to the planking, stage. n The Cairnnruir pontoons are ready for launching.
The Bo\uidary Creek pontoons are well advance'!.
