SOUTHERN MAORI MISSION.

A committee meeting of the Southern Maori Mission was held at the Bible Depot, Princes street, on Friday, July 20, at which there were present six members and the hon. secretary. Mr Neho Papakakura, the Native missionary and colporteur, was present, and presented a report of the work done since the last meeting. • Moeraki and Puketeraki have been visited, and profitable meetings held amongst the Natives. Mr Neho left again for the north on Saturday. Mr Rosevear, Bible Depot, hon. treasurer to the mission, acknowledges with thanks receipt of the following donations : —Friend, Purakanui, £1 ; Mrs C, Sunday school, Milton, ss; X.Y.Z?>, 10s; Miss Symington, St. Paul's Church, Oamaru, lls 6d; Miss D., Gladstone, Wairarapa, 10s; Mr N.P., 10s.
