Mr Stevens asked the Miniver for Agriculture if he will make provision for the purpose of having some of the youths of this colony instructed in the diagnosis of the diseases of animal?, and otherwise iaught those branches of veterinary science which will enable them to efficiently perform the work of meat and stock inspectors. — Mr Duncan, in reply, said the Government had not lost sight of this matter, and they hoped to do something in regard to it in the large centres.
